Let’s Get Back to the Basics.
I’m a macrame artist, clothing reseller, photographer and writer. A creative at heart.
As a Macrame artist, I released my first Dress Collection for SS-22.
I sell thrifted and modern clothes that are comfortable with a touch of boho aesthetic.
My written work and photographs have appeared in local, national and international magazines and newspapers, including DiscoverSD, SD CityBEAT, The Baltimore Sun and Whitehot Magazine.
Meticulousness mixed with curiosity.
I was raised in San Diego where I learned to create on a daily basis. In my thirties I studied Visual Communications at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Southern California, and quickly discovered a love of design.
Creating fiber goods is an intimate process. Before deciding on the fiber or thickness, I think about how a design will be used and where it will be placed. After years of practice, I’ve found that gently shaping cotton cord yields the best results. Even when designing window displays in 2010, I’ve always focused on the tiniest of details.
Meticulousness mixed with curiosity.
Traveling around the globe, I’ve soaked in designs that have helped me cultivate a cohesive, international style.
What matters to me is living a life full of passion, creativity and philanthropy.
My education includes a B.A. in Journalism with an emphasis in Creative Writing from Point Loma Nazarene University and an A.A. in Visual Communications from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.
While working for the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) for 8+ years, I managed and promoted events at NAMM Shows as well as NAMM Foundation events, with partners such as: Americans for the Arts, The National Association for Music Education, The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, VH1 Save The Music Foundation and The President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities.
I am a donor of the San Diego Humane Society and supporter of INARA.
